About Us But Not About Us

In downtown Manila, post-COVID-19 lockdown, restaurant sittings are restricted to 90 minutes. This is the setting for this engrossing two-hander in which Eric, a gay university professor grieving the loss of his long-term partner, meets Lance, an ambitious young literature student.

Over the course of their meal, the men’s pleasant conversation becomes a dangerous game of cat and mouse in which startling revelations are made. (Source: queerscreen.org)

The Show

According to the director, this film is involved in film festivals and is not currently available online. However, I have dropped the hint that he should consider putting it online eventually. I will update you all if and when that happens.

*Update* It will be released on Amazon Prime – Philippines in June 2023. There is no indication it will be available on the US platform yet.

*Update* It will be featured in the US film festival in San Fransisco in June. I am hoping that once it has finished that festival we can find it on Amazon Prime US.
